"THE SATURDAY GROUP" ...a super grad class for invites only in Vancouver.
This is a chance to get an acting workout with only top notch, shit hot working actors...for some inspiration and hard work. And perform LIVE.
Three weeks with a scene and partner ... then show up Saturday at 9am to the class. No prep, no warm up, no talk...STRAIGHT TO WORK. Performance is at 6pm for an audience.
Scenes that aren't off book, rehearsed, and practiced do not play. I reserve the right to pull scenes out of the performance.
We will get to go deep into directing the scene - we work, play, adjust, switch it up, and throw the scenes around in a massive work-a-thon. Then after break, a quick warm up and PERFORMANCE at 6pm to a live audience. (Scenes that aren't off book and rehearsed before the Saturday do not play. I reserve the right to pull scenes out of the performance).
This is for actors who have excelled at their craft. This is for actors who don't mind getting kicked around to get the work to be its best. This is hard work and hard play. It's for Grad actors who want a high-end peer group.
