This is a remote learning opportunity for actors everywhere, following the FOUR WEEK FOUNDRY PROCESS of regular scene study. Regular weekly conditioning for the hard working professional actor ONLINE. This four-week class format provides rigorous and passionate exploration Story, Emotion, and Focus’. Expertly designed to push artistic and professional growth for the professional/working actor.
Actors participating will be sent scenes in advance...actors may choose to work from either: (1) monologues, (2) audition scenes, (3) or with a partner on a full scene.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Regular weekly conditioning for the hard working professional actor. This four-week class format provides rigorous and passionate exploration of the ‘Three Pillars of Acting: Story, Emotion, and Focus’. Expertly designed to push artistic and professional growth for the professional/working actor.
Film or Theatre scenes that challenge you to tackle what’s in front of you in your artistic growth are assigned in advance.

This is a chance to get an acting workout with only top notch, shit hot working actors...for some inspiration and hard work. We will get to go deep into directing the scene - we work, play, adjust, switch it up, and throw the scenes around in a four week work-a-thon. This is for actors who have worked with Matthew extensively and have excelled at their craft. This is for actors who don't mind getting kicked around to get the work to be its best. This is hard work and hard play. It's for Grad actors who want a high-end peer group.

The COMEDY INTENSIVE prepares actors for their comedy auditions, comedy set work, and comedy stage work by working from scenes culled from comedy pilots, series, and film... given in advance.
COMEDY takes DISCIPLINE! Off book. Playing off the partner. Living the emotional circumstances. And finding the moments...AND ALSO knowing the comedic approach. Knowing COMEDIC scene analysis. Absorbing comic scene structure. Knowing and Playing the Rules of Comedy.
By investigating how to approach comedy, actors also explore how these comedic rules apply to their dramatic scenes as well.
