Classes for the Young Professional... for the teens of today. This six-week class format provides rigorous, professional, and fun exploration of Story, Emotion, and Acting in scenes and monologues...provided in a safe environment for the developing mind. Expertly crafted to articulate each element of artistic and professional growth. This is a class for the Working and Aspiring Professional Teen.

Actors participating will be sent scenes in advance...actors may choose to work from either: (1) monologues, (2) audition scenes, (3) or with a partner on a full scene...

WEEK ONE: Breaking Down The scene...
Actors will study their scenes or monologues and learn script analysis. Actors learn to THINK like actors! Talking theme, story ideas, the events of the scene...discovering the MEANING behind the text.

WEEK TWO: Finding The Character...
Actors PLAY with the scenes or monologues. Applying what was learnt in week one, actors discover the CHARACTERS!

WEEK THREE: Finding The Emotion...
Actors dig down to find the emotional approach of the scene or monologue. This is where actors find the "chemistry" of the scenes and monologues.

WEEK FOUR: Directing The Scene...
Working out the Blocking, Actors will present their ideas of approaching the scene and rehearse parts of or the entirety of prepared materials and receive direction, notes, and approaches to the work.

WEEK FIVE: Rehearsing The Scene...
The actors rehearse the scenes and monologues, practicing what was discovered in the first four weeks.

WEEK SIX: Presenting The Scene...
