DAY ONE: Get to the CORE of your scene with Matthew Harrison & learn the skills and techniques for a successful audition.
DAY TWO:
Showcase those skills in a full audition setting with Director Michael
Nankin. Receive direct immediate feedback from Michael. Your scenes,
as well as feedback will be taped and available online after the
workshop.
MICHAEL NANKIN: Michael
Nankin has been a working writer/director for the past 30 years. His
most recent credits include 8 episodes of BATTLESTAR GALACTICA,
as
well as episodes of EUREKA, THE DRESDEN FILES, THE SARAH CONNOR
CHRONICLES, CSI, THE AGENCY, VERITAS and INVASION, among many others.
His first job in Television was writer/director/showrunner of LIFE GOES ON.
MATTHEW HARRISON:
Matthew has forged careers and honed professionals in their craft - on
set and in class - for over twelve years, by giving actors the
machinery necessary for success: clear directives, solid tools, and a
fresh and profound acting technique. His regular coaching roster
includes: Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Patrick Gallagher
(Sideways, Glee), Brandon Jay Mclaren (Harper's Island), Paul Campbell
(Knight Rider), Colby Johannson (Reaper), Sage Brocklebank (Psych),
Christopher Shyer (The Practice). As an on set coach, Matthew regularly
works with high-caliber actors such as Rufus Sewell, Kurt Russell,
Peter Krause, Bill Hader, and many more.
