The ACTOR’S ACCENT Accent and Dialect Seminar with Adam Henderson:

A perfect “Anytown USA” accent is necessary to succeed as an actor in this film/TV market. This seminar introduces the working actor to a specific practical and physical approach to the American dialect.
Analysis of why we speak as we do and what impression we make will give the actor the tools to create the non-regional American sound (US Standard). The seminar will also introduce the keys to preparing
several other regional American accents - as well as British, European and Asian dialects. In this way, actors will acquire a technique for learning any accent and adapting the voice to any character. Side
benefits include accessing a dynamic vocal range, reduction of personal quirks, consistency of character, deeper understanding of spoken language, clearer articulation, increased vocal control and strength,
better sight reading, heightened professionalism…leading to an expanded castability in the film/TV market.
